A short form of object theatre and trinkets not very catholic for an altar in electronic keyboard...

A nun who is crazy about electronic music is reading out an insane religious service which is half Sunday school and half Sex education. But don’t worry about losing your religion! Rather than being a religious satire or a parody of devotion, “Ma Foi” is a devious, scatty essay, somewhere between “The Day of The Lord” and Tex Avery.

BIO
Dorothée Saysombat and Nicolas Alline created the Compagnie “à” in Angers, in December of 2003. It was born from the will of exploring the lively writing forms, through the relation between actor and manipulated object, the audience, sound and space. They have a preference for the objects theatre, the clown, the puppet, the cinema and the artistic proposals of small forms, preferring an intimist and precious relation with the public. Dorothée Saysombat, after her graduation in the École du Samouvar, collaborated as an actress and puppeteer with different groups, like Turak, from 2001 to 2005. She also works in cinema, directed documentaries and animation movies.
